Prospects4Sport is made up of a highly dedicated team of leisure professionals with over 80 years collective experience working in County Sports Partnerships, Local Authority, National Governing Bodies, Commercial sector and Sport England. Our team has the range of experience and knowledge to make a real difference to your organisation.
Established in 2005, Prospect4Sport has grown into a well respected and highly successful sport & leisure consultancy.
Our team includes:
Clare Howard - Clare founded Prospects4Sport following operational experience in a variety of leisure posts for Reading Borough Council, five years strategic planning experience with Sport England, two years' local authority experience with the London Borough of Redbridge, and 7 years private sector experience as a Principal Consultant. Clare has excellent working relationships throughout the country and works with CSPs, SSPs, national agencies and local authorities facilitating events, writing strategies, managing change programmes and training staff.
David Joy - David has 23 years' management experience within sports organisations including; English Volleyball, Sport Scotland, Sports Coach UK, Scottish Athletics, Sport England and Derbyshire Sport. In the past three years, in addition to these county duties, he worked as a consultant in designing the new Coaching Scotland Framework, which was acknowledged as laying a framework for the UK Coaching Framework. David was also a member of the Sports Coach UK strategic group, which helped to shape the new UK Coaching Framework. His current employer, Derbyshire County Council, has agreed for him to work for up to 15 days as an Associate for Prospects4Sport as part of his continuous professional development.
Emma Goddard - Emma has over 15 years' experience in HR, working at Board level in a number of companies. She has led on training needs analysis and people development programmes. In the last three years, Emma has gained knowledge and experience of the leisure and sports development sectors through project work with Prospects4Sport including involvement in the consultation with Community Sports Coaches, and the design, input and analysis of surveys in various research projects.
Mark Hunter - a trained journalist and is a researcher/interviewer for Prospects4Sport. He writes for the Sunday Times and trade journals, he is well known for his succinct writing skills and ability to draw out key issues from a variety of people.
David Howard - Marketing and Finance Director, co-founder of Prospects4Sport. David has a wealth of commercial, business development; and finance experience.
