A Sport & Physical Activity Places Strategy for Sandwell

Prospects4Sport has recently been appointed by Sandwell MBC and partners to complete its Sport & Physical Activity Places Strategy (2010-2020). The Strategy & associated action plan will help the Borough to achieve its vision of "being a place where, regardless of ability, age, economic or cultural background, a physically active lifestyle is the accepted norm".

By identifying a number of strategic themes and corresponding actions, the document will set out to deliver the 'Places' element of the overarching Sandwell Strategy for Physical Activity, PE and Sport.

This project is aligned to the work of the Sandwell Healthy Urban Development Unit (SHUDU) and will assist partners in identifying what needs to be done over the next 10 years to further improve the 'Places' infrastructure across Sandwell and how this can be achieved.
