East Links - Leading the Field Review

Prospects4Sport have been commissioned by Association of Colleges in the East Region (ACER) to evaluate the impact of the The Leading the Field project started in April 2009 which will be coming to an end in December 2010.  ACER is required to provide regular reports to the European Social Fund, who have funded the project. 

The project based in the East of England, offers funded training courses for individuals in the sport and leisure sector.  A partnership project, led by the Association of Colleges in the East Region (ACER) and involving Skills Active, the County Sports Partnerships (CSPs), Sport England, Sportscoach UK, Further Education colleges, National Governing Bodies of Sport and providers, Leading the Field represents one of the most comprehensive education and training projects in the country for the sector.

Prospects4Sport's research will result in both an evaluation report and a publication to highlight good practice case studies.
