NGBs and SSPs working together for a brighter future for young people in sport
Prospects4Sport have been engaged by the Youth Sport Trust to evaluate the success of a national scheme which aims to make sure that National Governing Bodies of Sport can provide the right services and supply the right opportunities to children and young people through School Sports Partnerships. 6 pilot NGBs are working in 12 County areas with SSPs to identify and communicate their offer for children and young people, and SSPs will make sure that the NGBs know the extent of the demand for various sports.
We will be working with the NGBs and SSPs to report on the successes and lessons to be learned from this scheme. Our report will be completed in early 2011.
